The easiest way to add all your service or delivery availability areas for your DeliveryChecker delivery availability area lookup widget is via CSV bulk import. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to add all the zip codes/postcodes/postal codes you serve as well as the delivery services (if applicable) at each availability area.
The final product will be something like the delivery availability lookup demo on our homepage - https://deliverychecker.co/
Step 1: Your Spreadsheet
The Bulk Upload Template
Whether you have an existing spreadsheet of all delivery services and the areas they serve or if you're starting from scratch, getting set up to match our template is very simple.
All you need to do is make sure the column names (first row of your spreadsheet) match the column names in our template which can be downloaded here. Simply rename the column names in your existing spreadsheet to match ours or use the template to start your new spreadsheet. Note that only the postcode (zipcode, postal code, postcode) column is required - all others are completely optional. However, we highly suggest you include city and state as well as country if possible. There exist similar postcodes throughout the world and not including those extra datapoints can result in a mis-positioned area.
What do I add to the spreadsheet?
The spreadsheet should include all the zipcodes/postal codes/postcodes you serve (one row for each postcode) and you may include a button link for each as well as a unique message.
If you would like to list multiple services in the same service areas, simply create a row for each service, for each postcode. For example if you have Service A in postcode 0 and Service B also in postcode 0, you would add a row in your spreadsheet for service A, postcode 0 and another row for service B, postcode 0. This way, both will be listed when a customer searches for postcode 0, for example.
